The following is a list of improvements released for SiteLink. Be sure to run a live update to apply these changes as they become available.
December 19, 2023
Background data refresh
We resolved an issue that prevented start-of-day reports from being run and caused a “deadlock error” while background data was being refreshed. Background data refresh ensures you can start using your software quickly, by downloading only the most important data initially at login and then downloading less critical records in a background process after you’re logged in. If you’d prefer for all of your data to be downloaded at login, you can disable the background refresh feature.
We also added a tooltip to the Graphs and Charts screens in SiteLink Web Edition to notify you when background data is being refreshed.
Deleting charges
We resolved an issue that prevented charges from being deleted from the tenant account payment screen.

You can now filter the Access Control Activity page in SiteLink by access point and activity type.
Storable Access Control: Delete a non-tenant accessor

eSign error
We resolved an issue that was causing an error message to occur when a manager attempted to sign a document that a tenant signed via eSign.
Units on the Vacant Unit Report
We resolved an issue that was preventing some units from being shown on the Vacant Unit Report in SiteLink Corporate Control Center.
Storable Payments: Deposit Delay Adjustments
We added a Deposit Delay category to the adjustments section of the Deposit screen in SiteLink MyHub to give you additional information about the adjustments impacting your deposit. These adjustments would have previously fallen into the "Other" category.

We resolved an issue that caused location information to be missing from the top of the Daily Deposit report in SiteLink MyHub.
Opening eSign receipts
We resolved an issue that was causing an error and preventing receipts from being opened in the eSign portal in SiteLink MyHub.

Online email address changes
We resolved an issue that was preventing email address changes made in the online payment portal from generating notifications and tenant notes in the software.
Rate increases
We resolved an issue that was causing tenant rate increases to take effect on an incorrect date.
Clickatell setup
We resolved an issue that prevented Clickatell from showing up in the list of SMS providers in SiteLink.
Reservations made through Web Template
We resolved an issue that was preventing the reservation menu from loading correctly and therefore preventing online move-ins when using the updated Web Template layout.

Log-in and data refresh improvements
SiteLink will now only gather the most important records when you log in and will download less critical records, such as tenant note history, in a background process. This means that logging into SiteLink should be much faster than it was previously. If you would prefer all data to be downloaded during login and refresh cycles, you can adjust your settings in your SiteLink Program Defaults. Instructions to change this setting can be found in our Help Article.

We improved the Report Scheduler so that it can successfully handle large report requests and process your scheduled reports faster to ensure 100% on-time completion and delivery of reports.

Auto-batched invoices
We resolved an issue that prevented auto-batched invoices from being automatically emailed to tenants in some cases and instead needed to be manually sent.
Transferring credits
We resolved an issue that prevented credits for prepaid rent and/or deposits from being applied to the tenant's new unit when a unit transfer was processed in SiteLink MyHub.
Editing return address on Mail Service labels
We resolved an issue that prevented the return address on Mail Service document labels for past due events from being edited if the default document delivery method was Mail Service.

eSign forms date picker keyword
We resolved an issue that prevented eSign forms from being saved if they included the date picker keyword (<eSign.DatePicker>).
Reserving through the SiteLink Web Template
We resolved the following issues that were impacting the SiteLink Web Template:
- Clicking on a unit to reserve would sometimes bring the tenant to a different unit size than what was selected.
- Reservations placed through the Web Template would include a confirmation date of 01/01/0001.
- Tenants would receive a confirmation when they placed a reservation through the Web Template but the reservation would not be populated on the Lead to Lease page in SiteLink.

We resolved an issue that was preventing refunds from being shown on the Daily Close Deposit report when accessed through the Daily Close screen.
Move-in dates on leases
We resolved an issue that was preventing the tenant’s move-in date from being included in leases generated from API online move-ins when using the Date.Notice keyword.
Billing period change
We resolved an issue that was causing incorrect report data when a tenant’s billing period was changed in SiteLink MyHub.

Updated help links
We’ve updated our Help buttons in SiteLink Web Edition so they link to our Help Center. You can now easily find how-to content relevant to the page you’re on in SiteLink by clicking Help.
New move-out settings
We’ve added two new move-out settings that can be used to limit move-outs to the current month and prevent changes to your reports from previous months.
- Limit backdating move-outs to current month: If this setting is enabled, the earliest available back-date that can be selected at move-out will be limited to the first of the current month. You can enable the setting from Program Defaults > Move Out by checking the box labeled Restrict backdating for move-outs to current month.
- Limit move-out reversals to current month: If this setting is enabled, move-outs that occurred in a previous month cannot be reversed. You can enable the setting from Program Defaults > Move Out by checking the box labeled Do not allow reversals of move-outs from previous months.

Re-assign tenant documents when moving a ledger to another tenant
When using the Move Ledger to Another Tenant feature in SiteLink Web Edition, tenant documents and files (such as leases) will now automatically be re-assigned to the merged tenant account.
Drag and drop files in myHub
You can now drag and drop photos and files when uploading ePhotos and eFiles to a tenant’s record in myHub.
Selecting date of birth in myHub
We resolved an issue that caused errors when selecting a date of birth while moving a tenant in using SiteLink myHub. You can now require a tenant’s date of birth at move-in and complete those move-ins in MyHub.

We resolved an issue that was preventing users with the Allow Voiding Transactions Only permission from voiding transactions in SiteLink myHub.
Storable Payments: AVS match status
We resolved an issue that was causing partial AVS matches to be shown as No Match instead of Match on the Credit Card Roll Report and AVS Mismatch Reminder. AVS status should now be correct for all credit cards on the Credit Card Roll Report.

Email Move-Out Receipts
We added the option to email a move-out receipt when moving a tenant out from either SiteLink Web Edition or SiteLink MyHub.
Duplicate Refund warning
We added a warning that you will see if you are processing a transaction that could result in duplicate refunds being issued.
ACH transactions made during the Daily Close
We resolved an issue that was preventing ACH transactions made while the Daily Close was being completed in SiteLink MyHub from being included in the Daily Close report.
Storable Websites lead notifications
If you use Storable Websites, you will now receive email notifications when a potential tenant reserves a unit, clips a coupon, or submits an inquiry through the Contact Us form on your website. Notifications will be sent to the email address you have set up in Site Setup > Store Information in SiteLink.

Scheduled rate change notifications
We resolved an issue that caused scheduled rate change notifications to include incorrect rates when rate changes were accepted and printed from the Pending Tenant Rate Changes screen.
Store unlock codes for DaVinci integration
If you use DaVinci Locks to overlock past due tenants, you can now retrieve unlock codes within SiteLink. You can enable this feature in SiteLink Web Edition by navigating to Setup > Units & Tenants > Electronic Locks.
Check Electronic unit locks used at this site and click OK.
When a past due tenant pays their bill, you can retrieve their unlock code from the Modify Units screen.
Storable Access Control: Sortable activity List
The Storable Access Control Activities Table in SiteLink can now be sorted by Day/Time in ascending or descending order by clicking the column header.
Storable Payments: SiteLink MyHub “CC Deposits and Reports” page
We’ve updated the CC Deposits and Reports page in SiteLink MyHub so ACH Returns are broken out as a separate line item in the Adjustments section.
Storable Payments: Auto-Voided payments
We resolved an issue that caused receipts for auto-voided payments (voided due to network interruptions) not to be deleted from SiteLink as they should be.

Increased custom unit and site attributes
We have increased the number of Custom Unit Attributes and Custom Site Attributes you can create from 5 to 10. Custom attributes allow you to display differentiating information about your facility and units and your website using the SiteLink API.
Site and Unit Attributes can be edited in SiteLink Web Edition by navigating to Site Setup > Program Defaults > Attributes on Website.
Email tenant’s receipt
We resolved an issue that was preventing the Email button from working when accessed from a tenant's receipt page on the SiteLink MyHub 3D map.
Invoice due date
We resolved an issue that was causing invoices printed at move-in to show the date the invoice was printed as the invoice due date instead of the correct due date.
Report dates
We resolved an issue that was causing certain reports in SiteLink Web Edition to show a past date instead of the date the report was generated.
Storable Access Control
Automatically assign access zones
You can now automatically assign tenants to access zones based on the unit they are renting. This saves you the time and effort of manually assigning access zones. You can find instructions to assign units to access zones so that tenants are automatically assigned to the correct zones in our article: How do I create or edit an Access Zone?
Please note: Non-Tenant Accessors should be used for any non-tenants who need access to your facility instead of secondary contacts or Other Authorized Users. You can find instructions to create non-tenant accessors in our Help Center article.

SiteLink MyHub time zones
We have updated the date and time used in SiteLink MyHub so that it shows the same time zone that is used for the location in Web Edition, regardless of where MyHub is running.
Financial Summary Report
We resolved an issue that was causing the Financial Summary report in SiteLink Corporate Control Center to be sorted randomly instead of by account number.
Adding a tax exempt number
We resolved an issue that was causing users to be unable to add a tax exempt number during the reservation process or to add a tax exempt number to a contact who was not the primary tenant.
Units shown on Storable Websites
We resolved an issue that was sometimes causing occupied units to be shown as available on Storable websites that are integrated with SiteLink.
Storable Payments: Credit Card Reconciliation Report
We resolved an issue that was causing the Credit Card Reconciliation report to show Terminal Only Refund for transactions that should have shown Terminal Only Void.
Storable Payments: Merchandise refunds
We resolved an issue that was preventing operators from issuing refunds for merchandise purchases from Returns and Inventory Adjustments.
