Moved-Out Accounts

Tenants who have moved out will be listed under Moved Out Accounts. You can make adjustments to their accounts or undo the move-out if needed.

To navigate to moved-out accounts, select the Adjustments tab in SiteLink Web Edition. Click Moved Out Accounts.

Undo a move out

If you accidentally process a move-out on the wrong unit, you can reverse the move-out with some exceptions. The most common reasons you may not be able to reverse a move out are (but not limited to):

  • Move out as a result of a transfer

  • If a refund was issued

  • It has been more than 5 days since the move-out

Select the unit you moved the tenant out of.
Click Undo Move Out.

Write off remaining balance as bad debt

By design, SiteLink will show tenants who moved out but still have a remaining balance as part of the Auction process.  If you do not plan to auction the unit but want to remove them from Auction in your tasks, you will need to clear their remaining balance.

1. Click on the tenant and then click Next.

2. Check the box labeled Write off remaining charges as bad debt.

If the box is gray and cannot be checked:

a) You do not have access to clear bad debt

or

b) The tenant was moved out in the current month and cannot be written off until next month.

3. Click Yes in the pop-up screen asking you to confirm the transaction and then click OK. The Tenant will no longer show in the Auction events.
