Compliance Fee Settings

Storable Websites

The new Storable Websites Units Table and Compliance Fee Settings are being rolled out to customers in waves. Your units table and settings may not yet match the experience shown in this article.

Compliance Fee Settings allow you to configure how fees are displayed on your website for facilities in states that require fee transparency. Some U.S. states require a clear display of any fees that will be charged at move-in, including the following states:

  • California

  • Nevada

  • Minnesota

  • Colorado

  • Oregon

  • Connecticut (starting July 1, 2026)

  • Virginia (starting July 1, 2026)

  • Massachusetts (starting September 2, 2026)

Please note: These settings will only impact the new Storable Websites units table.

By default, the fee total will be displayed as shown below for facilities located in impacted states.

When a customer hovers over the fee total, they will see a pop-up with the individual fees that make up the total.

Customize how fees are displayed

Changes can be made globally for all facilities or per facility.

You can edit the following settings:

Select Pricing Display

Choose the price display style you would like. Clicking either Transparent Price or Offer Centric will apply and save that change.

  • Transparent Price - Displays the total price, including fees, as the largest price on the unit card.

  • Offer Centric - Displays the price before fees as the largest price.

Modify Fee Text

The following text can be edited:

  • You can change the text displayed next to the fee total; it defaults to 'charges'.

  • Check or uncheck the Security Deposit checkbox to determine whether the security deposit is included in the fee total.

  • You can edit the heading in the fee breakdown pop-up. It defaults to 'The following fees will be applied at move-in:'

As you make changes, you will see a preview of the new text on the right side of the screen. Click Save after making any changes.
