The New Storable Websites Units Table

Storable Websites

The new Storable Websites Units Table is being rolled out to customers in waves. Your units table may not yet match the experience shown in this article.

We've upgraded the Storable Websites Units Table to provide you and your tenants with a more modern, online store experience. Your tenants will now browse your spaces using clean, user-friendly "unit cards" that highlight sizes, promotions, and features in a much more visual way.

The new Units Table includes the following:

  • Modern, updated displays with configurable options

  • Fluid styling control for all elements of the unit and tier cards

  • Price rounding and hiding settings

  • New compliance fee display and settings

  • Custom unit group images with new defaults

  • Upgraded promotional rate displays

  • Web rate displays

  • Updated and configurable filtering options

  • Custom Unit Attribute support for Sitelink

  • Customizable amenity icons and override settings

  • Unit floor displays

  • New unit group description settings

Please note: The new Units Table is available only for Storable Edge and Sitelink by Storable with Storable websites, not for 3rd party website clients.

FAQ

Q: Is the new Storable Websites Units Table available for all clients?

A: The new units table is available exclusively for operators utilizing Storable Edge or SiteLink by Storable, paired with a Storable Website. It is not available to clients using third-party website integrations. Additionally, because it is being rolled out in waves, your specific facility experience might not reflect these updates immediately.

Q: What is the primary difference my tenants will notice with the new table?

A: Tenants will transition to a more visual, modern e-commerce storefront experience. Instead of basic list rows, they will browse units using clean "unit cards" that explicitly emphasize unit sizes, promotional rate highlights, web rates, and amenity icons.

Q: What account permissions do I need to make changes to inventory and styling settings?

A: To access general Inventory Settings, you need full website builder permission.

To access Widget Settings and Styling (such as editing fonts, colors, or headings directly on a page), you must have Full Builder Permissions or Content Editing (Facility Pages) and Publishing permissions.

Q: Where do I go to modify the backend settings and appearance of the units table?

A: For backend rules/settings: Log into your website admin portal, navigate to Settings, and click the Inventory tab.

For visual layout and appearance: Go to your facility page template, right-click the Inventory Management Widget, and click Edit (or left-click to open the styling Properties panel on the right-hand side).

Q: Is the Units Table compatible with Tiered Pricing in Edge?

A: Yes, if your facility has Tiered Pricing enabled in Edge, clicking the Explore More button on a unit group card will reveal sub-tier cards.

Q. Does the new Units Table support reservation fees?

A: Yes.

Q: Does the new Units Table support Future Move-Ins?

A: Yes, if Future Move-Ins are enabled in your software.

Q: Can I customize what the unit descriptions say?

A: Yes, under the Unit Group Descriptions tab. By default, it generates a comma-separated list of that unit's amenities. You can replace this with custom text up to 250 characters, which will display directly beneath the unit size card header.

Q: How do I manage images for my units?

A: Under the Inventory Images settings, you can manage up to five rotating images per unit group card.

Q: Can the Units Table be placed on my website home page, or other non-facility pages?

A: Yes. If a Units Table is not on a facility-specific page, the tenant will be prompted to select a facility to view units.
